I finally got my labs done at another location where I didn't pay anything upfront. Also, these labs always in the past have only cost me $6 or so... not the $55 Quest was demanding up front.

Avoid this location at all cost! The woman behind the counter appeared to be annoyed that she actually had a customer. It’s collecting a urine sample not brain surgery. I immediately left and went to the Eureka location which was great. If you hate your job; do everyone a favor and find a new line of work.

I had to complete a new hire drug test. I showed up at 1:30, the lady working said "ok people, I am having computer problems there will be a delay" ok, no big deal, I figured I'd leave and come back. I arrived for the second time at 3:35. When it was my turn finally at 4:00 I explain I was there for a drug test. The lady working huff and puffed telling me her computer was still down and she had to do the forms long hand . Ok, as she starts the paperwork she proceeds to tell me, "I wish you told me this was a drug test, we cut those off at 3:30 and you arrived at 3:35. Plus, I close at 4:00". Needless to say I did not get my new hire drug test and left. Good luck going to the Washington branch. Hopefully they were having an off day and not every day is as rude as I experienced

I've never left with a bruise after having my blood drawn. I've been other places, but this is the only one that didn't leave a bruise. I do use my charge up front and have never had anything on it since the insurance does pay. Have been going here for years.

When I went in they said insurance required that I pay $55 upfront before they could draw my labs. This has never happened in all the six years I've been getting labs, so I protested. Then, assuming things would only get worse under Obamacare, I decided to just pay the $55 and get on with it. I tried to pay with cash, but apparently, this location doesn't TAKE cash. (Which is illegal, by the way.) You have to pay by credit/debit card.

When asking for more information about this, I was told that I couldn't pay cash because I'm not paying Quest Diagnostics, all my money actually goes to the insurance company and it has to be processed that way... Since when has anybody ever paid insurance companies for health care provided instead of the health care providers their selves? When I went to the Better Business Bureau's website to file a complaint, they don't even recognize this particular Quest Diagnostics as a business, so I don't know. I wouldn't go there.
