I would not go back to this location based on tonight's service!!!
This place is just horrible. I don't understand it. They are either busy with not enough staff or really, really slow and the food comes out cold. I remember Steak n Shake use to be one of the best places to eat and now it's just gone way down hill. They should just close down. I don't understand how it's gotten this bad. Work ethics are just not what they use to be.
When the food finally came out, I got the wrong burger. She then took it back, and forgot about my new burger. When it finally came , everything was COLD!!!! And the bacon had a weird taste to it. Since our salads were sitting in the window so long the dressing was warm and so was the salad.
Went after Black Friday shopping. While they were very busy, they told us ahead of time that it may be a while before we're seated. They were very quick and did well, considering the amount of people that were coming in and the number of cars in the drive through.
It would have been good if burger & fries were hot and the shake frozen instead of melted and warm. We waited for 35 minutes for our food. Service was terrible!
My Frisco melt tasted like it had the incorrect sauce on it. The soda tasted like they were almost out of syrup, and the fries were extremely salty. The customer service was OK, but could've been better. The food was freshly made and extremely hot; the fries burned my fingers. I ended up giving my fries to my boyfriend because they were just too salty for me too enjoy. My boyfriend did enjoy his Wisconsin Buttery sandwich, though.
This was awful tonight. We waited 1.5 hours to get our food. We saw our salads waiting to come out, but the server never looked at the window! She came to our table about 45 minutes into our wait and asked what we needed, and laughed when she saw our table. We answered, we would like our food. She then said it should not be too much longer, the kitchen was backed up!
